Cheese Spreader Knife

Using available small samples of exotic wood, I created the blade from bamboo with a partial tang, red cedar for the handle, and small pieces of a tropical wood for the accents. The squared shape of the blade is meant to efficiently scrape the corners of the rind, with a wide surface area for a plentiful helping. The handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, joined with a seamless transition. The cheese in question is a triple creme brie named Brillant Savarin Affin, available at a local grocery store in my home town. My family calls it "Magic Butter Cream" due to its delicious flavor and buttery consistency.
