Jewelry Making Bracelet

A bracelet made from brass sheet metal, with the intention to push the boundaries of the form.

Process

I first created the piece out of cardstock for proof of concept. My professor then told me: "Well it's certainly spectacular!" and gave me the green light. Using a jeweler's saw and a dremel, I made all of the cuts into a piece of brass sheet metal to create the flattened piece, and then gently hammered and bent it into shape. The piece is currently in the professor's display cabinet as inspiration to other students.
