Playground Exercise

As a study to refresh my Solidworks and Blender skills, and due to my strong interest in playground design, I created a simple model of a piece of playground equipment. I found a free plan to build a backyard swing set with basic lumber and materials: Paul's Swing Set in the standard size, found at paulsplayhouses.com. This study was especially helpful in exploring the relationships of parts vs assembly modeling and the use of mates within Solidworks. While I was able to create preliminary renders within Solidworks, I achieved better render results with the greater degree of control afforded to me within Blender. This exercise also solidified my Blender knowledge, especially concerning UV Mapping and proper implementation of HDRIs.
